Child of the owl
Narrative Feature | In Development
Twelve-year-old Casey is sent to live with her grandmother in SF Chinatown and together they navigate a history rooted in survival, family, and finding home. And owls.
In May 2019, we were granted exclusive rights to develop Laurence Yep’s exquisite “CHILD of the OWL” novel into a feature narrative film. A magical realist film set in San Francisco Chinatown with common threads to Pan’s Labyrinth, City of Lost Children, and Whale Rider.
